E.R. Recommends: Suggested Twitter & Facebook Post Times

Knowing the best times of the day and best days of the week to send out tweets and post Facebook status updates really comes down to knowing your customer and their behaviors. The best times to reach your readers or customers may not be the most optimal times for the next person, so analyzing your users’ infographics can reveal the magic numbers you need.

Stephanie Parker wrote an article over at Social Media Today about optimal tweet and Facebook posting times. It’s a great read about understanding how to best reach your audience with your social media efforts.

Great suggestions. My biggest struggle is the Pacific vs. Eastern time thing.

I typically publish my blog posts early in the morning and that seems to produce good results.
A lot of times I will tweet a post mid afternoon, but I’ll have to experiment with noon and 5 pm recommended times.
