E.R. Recommends: In Google’s Eyes, “Fresh” Content is Better

One challenge facing all webmasters is the ever-changing set of rules regarding what needs to be done in order to achieve optimal search engine results. Earlier this month, Google announced on its blog its change to present a searcher the most recent, relevant content matching their search terms.

 

Add this as another compelling reason why businesses should blog. Gone are the days when static websites were “enough”. Now in order to stay competitive in the online marketplace and have a fighting chance to rank well with Google, businesses need to add social media and blogging to their marketing strategy.
