In the world of social media, there are a plethora of new tools that are always coming out. How do you know which will work for you and which are just a flash in the pan? Here are three tools we think you might like.

hrefshare – hrefshare is a tool similar to Click to Tweet. However, this tool provides the ability to create and share links for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google + for free. You can add your URL, Title, a brief summary and an image to create easy to share methods for the content you create.

Conversation Score – Much like LikeAlyzer, this tool will give you a quick break down on your Facebook fan page, its engagement and how you can improve your presence. Giving you 1-5 stars in four categories – Response to Fans, Broadcasting, Fan Love and Virality – it will then calculate your “type”. We’re a “Conversationalist” – we’re curious to hear how your experience goes and whether you find the insights helpful.

20% Tool – Facebook limits text on fan page cover photos to 20% or less (though dropped its previous additional restrictions of no calls to action, no website address, etc.). The 20% tool allows you to upload your cover photo to quickly determine whether or not your cover image is in violation of the 20% rule.
