An article share from a fellow StumbleUpon-er proved to be an interesting Facebook read.
“Hidden” as a sub-folder to your main Messages folders is your Other messages folder.
This folder contains messages sent from fan pages you have “liked” vs your Messages folder which receives private messages sent to you by your Facebook “Friends”.
Jennifer from Eighty MPH Mom wrote a great post that explains how the Other messages folder works.
So are you saying then as a facebook page, your messages don’t go in the stream? How do we make sure our messages are getting seen?
Messages are different that posting status updates. Who sees your status updates comes down to Facebook’s EdgeRank algorithm. You can read more about that here: http://elirose.lizjostes.com/2011/08/what-is-your-facebook-edgerank-score/
Hope that helps!
