The advent of a new social platform means the creation of a new batch of tools with which to search and measure that platform. Sites like Find People On Plus, Unofficial Google Plus Recommended Users and PlusClout offer user and influence metrics to help you make the most out of your Google Plus experience.
Find People on Plus
A massive search directory, Find People on Plus lets you search for and identify other Google Plus users to follow. Searches can be conducted for brands vs personal profiles, age, gender, location and  relationship status.
Unofficial Google Plus Recommended Users
Also a Google Plus user search tool, the Unofficial Google Plus Recommended Users tool recommends people to follow based on topic.
PlusClout
Much like the other type of Klout, PlusClout measures a user’s social influence – on a scale from 0 to 100 – on Google Plus. PlusClout does require a Google Login to use their tool. Once you login, you’ll receive your PlusClout score.
As a side note, this platform is likely the only platform where everybody has more influence than Mark Zuckerberg.
What is your favorite part of Google Plus? How do you find new users to follow?
I wonder if this is how seemingly random men with foreign sounding names I have no connection to circle me?
