One of the best features of Instagram is that it connects and posts to a couple other major social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter (if you desire it to). While you may not necessarily want every Instagram photo you post to also post to your connected accounts, it saves you time when you do need the same image posted elsewhere. The Facebook-Instagram integration includes both Profiles and Business Pages. How to connect your Instagram account to your Facebook Business Page can be less obvious and a question we get quite a lot.
Here’s what you need to know in order to connect your Instagram account to your Facebook Business Page and be able to autopost Instagram images to Facebook.
How to Post to your Facebook Page from Instagram
From the Home screen of your Instagram account, click on your profile photo in the bottom right corner.
Next, click on the gear icon located in the top right corner of your Instagram profile page.
Scroll down through your Options.
On the second “page” of your Instagram options, you’ll see the tab for “Linked Accounts”. Click on that.
Next you’ll see Facebook at the top of the list of other accounts you can connect to Instagram. Click on the Facebook option.
Please keep in mind that you will connect to your personal Facebook Profile first. The step to switch to your Page comes later.
By default, you’ll see “Timeline (Default)”. Click on the arrow pointing right.
You are presented with the list of Facebook Pages you admin. Choose the Facebook Page you want to connect to Instagram.
Now that your Facebook Page is connected to your Instagram account, you can choose to share which Instagram photos you also post to your Facebook Page on an image by image basis. You select to share to Facebook (or any other connected account) as the final step of your Instagram posting process. Simply touch to switch Facebook Page sharing on or off as you see fit.
If you ever want to switch to a different Facebook Page or back to your Profile, you can do so following the same steps above.
