Facebook now has a feature called “Facebook Offers” that is rolling out to Facebook fan page admins.
When using Facebook as your brand’s page, you’ll see the Offer, Event +Â option where you write a new status update.
Each Offer you write includes a thumbnail image.
A 90 character Offer description.
And its own Offer terms and expiration date.
Facebook Offers are designed as a way for brands to offer discounts to Facebook users and are free for fan page admins to run.
Offers will appear in your News feed. All you need to do to redeem an Offer is to click “Get Offer” when you see it in your feed. Then you will receive an email to print off your discount, or show the offer on your smart phone at the business to receive the discount. All claimed Offers will then be displayed in your timeline, and can also be shared with others.
